UPDATE: I can't stand Shaiya anymore, after a while, it just turned me off & got too much for me, especially w/ the nudity. I am now playing Minions of Mirth.

Oh, well.

I really hate the idea of paying every month! That takes the fun out of the game! They should just have you pay for the initial game, THEN subscribe for free, like w/ Guild Wars.

Hey, isn't Guild Wars coming to an end soon? I heard that they will stop service. They already have in Asia somewhere, I forget which country, and they will stop it everywhere else as well.

Don't they ALL require a subscription? Or unless you mean the kind you have to pay every month 'cause those I'm not interested, either. I should not have to pay for a game that I buy once.

Do you have to pay every month for "Warhammer", or is it like "Guild Wars" in the sense that you just buy the game, but the subscription is free every month?

Yeah. I guess I am just trying to bide some time 'til I get my new custom computer that will enable my FAVORITE game, TES IV to play.

Ok, I will think about it. But, it gets boring. I'm now playng Dragon Fable and I just started w/ Adventure Quest.

I know the graphics & quality wouldn't be as good as EQ2, but I just wish the good/bad options & quests would be in more games. W/ Shaiya, I understand all the quests are pretty much the same no matter where you are,....

Oh, OOPS!! Misunderstood! I am awake now! I guess what I am looking for is a free game that is just like Everquest 2 or City of Villains and Shaiya is the only one remotely close. Is there anything that is closer to EQ2 or CoV?

Has anyone ever tried Shaiya? I just started playing it. You have to download it, but it's a free account. I think you can buy stuff, though. It's kind of like Everquest II in that it has a light & dark side.

I didn't even have the chance to do anything on the graphics, as the game would not even install. I will just have to wait 'til my bro can get the computer that my cousin is supposed to build for me,....

Yeah, I love single player games, too! I am just trying to occupy my time until my cousin builds me such a computer that my TES IV is compatible w/.

Oh, I find this jargon so hard to understand! I tried "Progress Quest" and I was highly disappointed. It's just a box w/ text or something. I was hoping to see graphics and the game played FOR me.

What's "grinding"? I might have a problem w/ my meek computer, if it's "heavy on the hardware requirements". I wish there was a free game that was more like EQ2 or maybe even CoV w/ the good/bad alignments, though.

I think the quests are better, like the DB, some of the shrine quests, the Shivering Isles expansion, etc.

I just tried Runescape, it looks ok. There is also Sherwood, which is on maidmarian.com , but I am not into that. I am like Ryft, though, I am not much for mmorpg's. I found it, too! I looked at my bookmarks, and said "WHAT?" when I saw the Arwen's forums that I had was no longer. So, I looked it up and found this! By the way, I am hoping to get a computer that will enable me to play "TES IV" PERIOD!!!
