We made the upgrade to phpBB3 today.

I've just spent hours trying to make sure that all is working ok . . . but I need FEEDBACK, as I can only see how things are working for me.

Basically I would like all the regular members to make a post in this topic . . . if only just to write that there are no problems . . . or to let me know what problems they are having . . . so I can try to fix them.

I've also installed a some new forum templates . . . in a variety of styles . . . so hopefully you'll all be able to find one you like.
(And I'm willing to try to meet your specific style request . . . but am limited to what styles are available . . . so describe what you want, and I'll see what I can do.)

Works fine here, except for people's missing avatars.

It looks like most everyone will have to re-upload an avatar (using the user control panel/profile/avatar).

Sort of a pain, but I've increased the maximum avatar image size from 100 x 100 to 150 x 150 . . . sort of a bonus incentive.

Hint: you can now upload a larger image and then size it down like I did (so that it's still only 100 pixels wide), which works well with non-square avatars.

I have not been back for awhile. but so far, i have had no problems with the upgrade.

I'm glad to hear that. The upgrade went sooo much smoother than I expected . . . I was stressing over it for days before it happened, trying to make sure that everything was ready on this end, and backing up everything, just in case I ran into a glitch. But when the upgrade day arrive, it was like, "Cool, this is no big deal," and everything was totally fine. [I tend to do that about most things . . . pre-stressing and all, but then am like totally ok when the event arrives.]

Anyhoo . . . welcome back to the Realm.
