I just put our forums into the upgrade queue, so the change over should happen soon.
All of the FreeForums will have to switch over by the 20th (current timeline), so all I'm doing is trying to make the change while I have the time to deal with it.

In preparation for the switch, I have disabled html, as phpBB3 does not support html.

Our portal will not be making the move with us, so just make sure that you are logging in to the forums (http://arwen.freeforums.org/index.php) and not the portal.

When the switch does happen, I'll have to shut down the site for a bit, as I'll need to tweak some things. I'm hoping that this would take me too long (but I've never run a phpBB3 forum before, so I don't really know how difficult this will be.

I just received the following Admin message:

"Just a reminder this Monday we will be starting auto-conversions for remaining phpbb2 forums."

So the upgrade to phpBB3 should be happening really soon. Hopefully I will be able to handle the changes without too much trouble (or down time).
